Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, is hiring caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities in community-based settings. You’ll assist with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and help participants pursue meaningful activities and goals.

We value compassion, patience, reliability, and a desire to empower participants to live fuller lives. Eligible candidates have a high school diploma and are willing to learn in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and support those with behavioral challenges.
• Help participants engage in meaningful activities and community involvement.
• Support participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition goals.
