Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, seeks a compassionate caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a community-based setting. You will assist with daily living and personal hygiene while helping participants pursue meaningful activities and goals.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Vehicle: Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support individuals who have developmental or behavioral needs to participate in daily community activities.
• Help participants achieve personal goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
