Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, is hiring a caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Lancaster, Ohio. You’ll provide personal care, help participants participate in community activities, and support them to achieve daily goals in a respectful, patient manner.

Full-time positions include weekend shifts with competitive hourly pay of $17, along with benefits like 401(k), paid time off, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Age: Minimum 18 years old.
• Experience: Six months in IDD, behavioral health, or related field preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking and teamwork.
• Vehicle: Valid driver\'s license and reliable vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants in community activities and goal attainment.
• Maintain patient, compassionate and reliable support.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safety and wellbeing of participants.

Hire wage is $17 hourly

This position requires someone who has had a Drivers License for at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.

Positions include weekend shifts as scheduled

Full Time

11a-7p Every other Sunday , Monday, Friday 11a-7p with 6a-2p Thursday and every other weekend

2p-10p Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 6a-2p Thursday, Friday, with every other weekend
