Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is seeking a compassionate caregiver in Minnesota. You’ll assist participants with daily living, personal hygiene, and behavioral challenges, while building real relationships and helping them live well.

This part-time role offers stable evening shifts (Mon Tue 3pm-11pm or Thu Fri 4pm-10pm with alternating weekends) at $21 per hour. Sevita provides a competitive benefits package, PTO, and opportunities for growth within a supportive network.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition to reach developmental goals.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve and support their community participation.
• Attend to participants' daily living activities and ensure a safe, supportive environment.
