Easterseals NH is seeking a Direct Support Associate to empower adults with developmental disabilities through community-based activities and individualized support in our Day Program and Residential Homes in Concord and Penacook. You will provide supervision and hands-on assistance to help participants build independence and engage in meaningful experiences.

Ideal candidates have a background in direct care or related fields.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Prior direct care/direct support experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in Day Program activities and community-based, skill-building tasks
• Provide supervision and hand-over-hand assistance to participants
• Assist with vocational tasks, volunteer activities, outings, and community experiences
• If covering Residential Homes, be available to support up to 40 hours per week across programs

We are currently hiring for both our Day Program and our Residential Homes, offering flexibility based on your interests, experience, and schedule.Locations: Positions available in Concord and Penacook.What You’ll Do:Day Program Role (30 hours/week)As a Day Program Direct Support Associate, you’ll support individuals as they participate in engaging, community-based, and skill‑building activities such as:Vocational tasksVolunteerismOutings and integrative community experiencesYour responsibilities will range from providing general supervision to offering hand‑over‑hand assistance, always ensuring each person receives the individualized support they need to succeed.Looking for a full 40-hour week?
