Job summary

Easterseals NH is hiring a Direct Support Associate for the Day Program in Manchester, NH. The role focuses on empowering adults with developmental disabilities through community-based activities and skill-building in a safe, supportive environment.

The position offers daytime hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–3pm) with potential to add up to 10 more hours in residential homes, and a path for career progression through the DSP progression pathway.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
  • Prior direct care/direct support experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general supervision and hands-on support as needed.
  • Offer hand-over-hand assistance to participants to build independence.
  • Facilitate community-based activities, volunteering, and outings.
  • Support individuals in vocational tasks and other skill-building activities.

We are currently hiring for both our Day Program.Compensation:Day Program: Current opportunities are $19 - $23 hourly, dependent upon program needs. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position.What You’ll Do:Day Program Role: Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm, 30 hours/week.As a Day Program Direct Support Associate, you’ll support individuals as they participate in engaging, community-based, and skill‑building activities such as:Vocational tasksVolunteerismOutings and integrative community experiencesYour responsibilities will range from providing general supervision to offering hand‑over‑hand assistance, always ensuring each person receives the individualized support they need to succeed.Looking for a full 40-hour week?
