Job summary

The E.W. Scripps Company in New York City is seeking a Sales Support Assistant – Direct Response to provide essential support to the Direct Response Sales team. You will ensure campaign execution is smooth, orders are processed accurately, and clients receive exceptional service while backing Scripps’ strategic sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior media internship(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process direct response advertising orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure post-sale execution of deals across endpoints.
• Facilitate clients’ brand allocations, flighting requirements, shifts, commercial instructions, content constraints, and ad hoc requests.
• Communicate with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations and Pricing and Inventory teams to execute sponsorship opportunities.
• Troubleshoot creative issues/requests and delivery of traffic instructions to meet start dates.
• Resolve outstanding billing discrepancies and ensure timely client payments.
• Support Account Executives and Sales Management in researching client initiatives and brand launches.
