Job summary

Kerix is seeking a Direct Primary Care Physician for our Northbrook, IL office. The physician will join a patient-centered team delivering high-quality, relationship-focused care with longer visits and proactive management.

The ideal candidate is board-certified in Family Medicine or internal medicine-pediatrics, licensed in Illinois, and committed to evidence-based practice. Monday–Friday schedule with generous benefits and collaboration within KerixHealth.

Responsibilities

• Care for a panel of up to 600 patients.
• Be available via phone app for your patient panel 24/7 for emergencies only.
• Collaborate with KerixHealth team and care partners.
• Participate in case conferences and CME conferences.
• Provide proactive preventive care and care coordination.

We’re currently hiring a Family Medicine or Med-Peds physician for our suburban Chicago office in Northbrook, Illinois, starting late 2026/early 2027. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience post-residency .

Responsibilities

• Live KerixHealth’s mission to fix primary care
• Care for a panel of no more than 600 patients
• Be available via phone app for your own patient panel 24/7 (for emergencies only) except when on vacation
• Partner with other members of the KerixHealth team, including medical assistants, population health managers, third party administrators, benefit consultants, health plan sponsors, other KerixHealth physicians, and associates
• Participate in KerixHealth’s case conferences and continuing medical education conferences

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Board certification in family medicine, or internal medicine-pediatrics
• Currently licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Illinois
• The ability to build successful relationships with both patients and team members
• A commitment to practicing evidence-based medicine
