Job summary

ICF is seeking a Direct Operations Case Coordinator in Norfolk, Virginia to lead a team working with unaccompanied children in ORR custody. This role requires a Master's or Bachelor's degree in social work or related disciplines and significant experience in child welfare, case management, and supporting immigrant families.

Responsibilities include overseeing case coordination efforts and ensuring compliance with best practices while assisting in the safe and timely release of children. Individuals must be bilingual and live within 50 miles of an ORR facility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of child welfare experience or 8+ years with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience reviewing case files and assessing information.
• Understanding of unaccompanied children and ability to maintain relationships.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate Case Coordinator coverage at all provider sites.
• Supervise and provide operational oversight of the Case Coordinator team.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance and care standards.
