Job summary

Rite of Passage is hiring a Direct Juvenile Support Worker/Coach Counselor at The Dermott Juvenile Treatment Center (DJTC) in Dermott, Arkansas. This secure residential program serves at-risk male youth ages 18-21 and offers a structured environment with school, library, vocational training, and on-site facilities.

You will join a team dedicated to positive change, providing supervision, mentorship, and supportive care during night and day shifts.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB tests.
• Able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct juvenile support to at‑risk male youth aged 18–21 at DJTC.
• Create and maintain a positive, safe, and supportive environment during all shifts.
• Carry out shift responsibilities and follow program protocols to promote growth and achievement.

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Direct Juvenile Support Worker/Coach Counselor at The Dermott Juvenile Treatment Center (DJTC) in Dermott, Arkansas.

DJTC is a secure residential program for at-risk male youth ages 18-21, located outside of Dermott, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, DJTC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, medical and an outdoor recreation area. Pay

$17.75 - $18.82 per hour based on education and experience. Schedule includes 4 hours of guaranteed overtime each pay period

To be considered you should:

Schedule

• Nights -4 days on/3 off – Days 31/2 days on/31/2 off
• Day Shift: 7am – 9pm (14-hour shift *2-hour break*)
• Night Shift: 9pm – 7am (10-hour shift *No-hour break*)
