Rite of Passage Brand is hiring a Direct Juvenile Support Worker for the Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center (AJATC) in Bryant, AR. The role focuses on safety, mentoring and supporting youth through education and activities in a secure residential program.

No prior experience is required; training is provided. Must be 21+, pass background checks, and hold a valid driver’s license. Schedule is 4 days on/3 off with 12-hour shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to pass background check, drug test, TB test, and registry checks.
• Must meet requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person safety and security around-the-clock for youth.
• Meet the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through mentoring and skill development.
• Monitor and document behaviors and activities; support educational, social, athletic and recreational activities.

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth. Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Direct Juvenile Support Worker at The Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center (AJATC) in Bryant, Arkansas.

AJATC is a secure residential program for at-risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, AJATC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical and an outdoor recreation area. Pay: $17.75 - $18.82 per hour based on education and experience. Schedule includes 4 hours of guaranteed overtime each pay period (Full Time Only)

What you will do: A Direct Juvenile Support Worker provides in-person safety and security around-the-clock. You will provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual mentoring and skill development. Direct Juvenile Support Workers provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the youth’s needs; monitor and document behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities. You will collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan. This position works directly in our High Impact Program.

There is no previous experience required for this role, as training will be provided. We are looking for individuals who are consistent, fair, punctual, motivated, and structure-oriented. If you have prior experience in similar facilities, any military training and/or relevant education, you may be eligible to start above entry-level.

To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; be at least 21 years of age; be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test; be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry; must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License.

Schedule: 4 days on/3 off – 3 days on/4 off

A-Shift: Sunday through Tuesday, every other Wednesday, 7am – 8pm (12-hour shift with 1 hour break)
