Job summary

Hire Energy seeks a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to deliver specialized care to geriatric patients. You’ll assess, treat, and manage breathing conditions to improve comfort and quality of life.

This full-time, nationwide opportunity requires active licensure (CRT/RRT) with BLS and ACLS, plus 2+ years of experience and strong communication skills. You’ll work both independently and with a care team, with weekend rotations and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT, RRT, BLS, ACLS).
• At least 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, preferably in geriatric, acute, or cardiac settings.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory conditions and treatments for older adults.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work weekend rotations.

Responsibilities

• Assess geriatric patients' respiratory conditions and build individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulizers, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and self-care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records.
• Pursue ongoing education and professional development.
