Job summary

Direct Collision Center LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking a motivated Parts Counterperson to ensure the right parts are ordered, received, and available to support fast, quality collision repairs.

You’ll work closely with the Parts Manager, technicians, and the service team in a busy shop, maintaining accurate records and inventory while delivering strong customer service. Previous collision repair parts experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive parts ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate and move automotive parts safely.
• Experience in collision repair parts processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ordering, receiving, verifying, and tracking parts throughout the repair process.
• Ensure parts are accurate and available to support timely repairs.
• Maintain organized parts inventory and documentation.
• Collaborate with Parts Manager, technicians, and team to coordinate needs.
• Use CCC ONE to track parts and records.
• Support department efficiency and maintain gross margins.

Requirements

What You’ll Do as a Parts Counterperson:

• Assist with ordering, receiving, verifying, and tracking automotive parts throughout the collision repair process.
• Ensure parts are accurate and available to support timely and efficient vehicle repairs.
• Maintain organized parts inventory and accurate documentation.
• Work closely with the Parts Manager, technicians, and collision center team to coordinate parts needs.
• Utilize inventory management systems, including CCC ONE, to track parts and maintain records.
• Assist in maintaining department efficiency and gross profit margins.
• Follow established procedures for parts handling, returns, and inventory management.

Qualifications:
