Job summary

Eau-Claire-Ford-Lincoln-Quick-Lan in Eau Claire, WI seeks a Parts Counter-person to help keep a busy service shop running smoothly. Automotive experience is helpful but not required—we’ll train you. You’ll oversee parts sales, communicate with customers and technicians, and ensure accurate parts status.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (prior auto parts sales experience preferred).
• Familiarity with automobiles.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to grow in a dynamic environment.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full parts sales process
• Communicate with customers and team members professionally and clearly.
• Provide accurate updates on parts status.
• Read and interpret our parts catalog while assisting customers and technicians.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and assist with parts inquiries.
• Review body shop estimates for accuracy.
• Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers.
• Pull and fill parts orders, keeping stock organized and accurate.
• Notify the parts manager of low or out-of-stock items.
• Source parts from outside vendors when needed.
• Ensure all internal parts requests are properly billed.
• Process customer payments or secure credit authorization.

Compensation

• Ranges $38,000-$60,000 annual salary depending on experience.
