Job summary

Homestead of Creston is seeking full-time Direct Care Workers to join our team on all shifts. You will provide direct care to residents, assist with activities of daily living, and help with mealtime service in a warm, family-owned environment.

Requirements include Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr medication manager course at hire, and ability to handle medications, housekeeping, and laundry duties as directed by the Executive Director.

Qualifications

• Provide direct care to residents and assist with activities of daily living.
• Handle medications as part of routine care.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties as needed.
• Must have CMA or complete 10-hour Medication Manager course upon hire.

Responsibilities

As a direct care worker that handles medications, you will be required to provide direct care to facility residents, primarily for their activities of daily living. In addition, you will assist with housekeeping and laundry duties, mealtime service, and all other duties assigned by the Executive Director. Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr medication manager course is required upon hire.
