Job summary

Homestead of Chariton Memory Care in Chariton, IA is hiring full-time and part-time Direct Care Workers for all shifts, 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am.

As a DCW, you will provide direct care to residents, assist with daily living activities, housekeeping and laundry, mealtime service, and other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Qualifications

• Direct care experience with residents in memory care setting is preferred.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Capable of housekeeping, laundry, mealtime service as needed.

As a direct care worker that handles medications, you will be required to provide direct care to facility residents, primarily for their activities of daily living. In addition, you will assist with housekeeping and laundry duties, mealtime service, and all other duties assigned by the Executive Director.
