Job summary

Homestead of Albia is seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers for all shifts, full-time and part-time positions. You will provide direct care to residents and assist with daily living activities in a welcoming, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include medication handling, housekeeping, laundry, and mealtime service. A Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr medication manager course is required upon hire, with ongoing support and training offered.

Qualifications

• Provide direct care to facility residents and assist with activities of daily living.

As a direct care worker that handles medications, you will be required to provide direct care to facility residents, primarily for their activities of daily living. In addition, you will assist with housekeeping and laundry duties, mealtime service, and all other duties assigned by the Executive Director.
