Job summary

Sweetwater Care in the Phoenix area is seeking Direct Care Workers to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a compassionate, personalized setting. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, monitor progress, and help implement individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.

Qualifications

• 1 year caregiver experience or similar
• Arizona Driver's License
• Fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain one
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Article 9 training

Join Sweetwater Care as a Direct Care Worker, where you'll make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. We are dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care in a supportive environment, and we are looking for passionate individuals to join our team in the greater Phoenix, AZ area.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life
• Implement individualized care plans/goals tailored to each client's needs and preferences
• Monitor behavior and daily activities
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Accompany members on recreational activities

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with clients on a personal level
• Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others
• Reliable Transportation
• Valid Arizona Driver's License
• At least 1 year Caregiver experience or similar
• An Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one*
• CPR /First Aid Certification*
• Article 9*

Pay:

• $17.00 - $21.00/hour

Flexible Scheduling or Full Time May Be Available
