Job summary

Sweetwater Care in the greater Phoenix area is seeking a Direct Care Worker to provide compassionate, personalized support to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily living activities and contribute to a safe, respectful home environment.

Responsibilities include helping with hygiene and meals, offering companionship, following individualized care plans, monitoring well-being, and assisting with transportation and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with clients on a personal level.
• Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License.
• At least 1 year caregiver experience or similar.
• Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
