A local home health care provider in Lehighton is seeking Direct Care Workers to provide essential in-home support for clients in the greater Carbon County area. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Candidates must complete specific training, hold CPR certification, and maintain a clear background check. The role offers flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Completed Competency Exam or PA-compliant training program per Department of Health (DOH) standards.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Recent TB Test & Physical Exam (within the past 12 months).
• Proof of Pennsylvania Residency for the past two (2) years.
• Two (2) Valid Professional References.
• Clear Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, sweeping, dishes, etc.).
• Support mobility and ensure home safety.
• Provide medication reminders (non-clinical).
• Report changes in client condition to supervisor.
