Job summary

AbaCares Services LLC in Walnutport, PA seeks compassionate Direct Care Workers to provide in-home support, including personal care, companionship, and light homemaking, ensuring the safety and well‑being of clients. You will follow individualized care plans, assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal prep, and record care activities and changes.

Responsibilities

AbaCares Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team. Our Direct Care Workers provide essential support and services to clients in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Services include personal assistance, companionship, homemaking, and respite care. Location: WALNUTPORT, PA, 18088 Approved Weekly Hours: 35.33 Schedule: Monday and Wed am–3pm Tuesday 9am–4pm Thur Fri Sat and Sun 9am–1pm No gender preference Scope: Getting up in the morning, washed up, and changed, light housekeeping, she is incontinent, mobility assistance; transferring Key Responsibilities: Provide personal assistance and care to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist with homemaking tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities. Ensure clients' safety and well-being by monitoring their condition and reporting any changes. Follow care plans and service plans tailored to individual client needs. Document care provided and maintain accurate client records. Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a caregiving or direct care role is preferred.
• Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
• Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
