Responsibilities include meal prep, medication reminders, transportation to appointments, and support with hygiene and mobility. Prior caregiving experience is preferred; high school diploma required.

• Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting and assisting with mobility.

• Housework/Chore: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and other chores.
• Managing Medications: Assist with medication reminders and management.
• Transportation: Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Hygiene: Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Dressing: Assist with dressing and undressing, ensuring client comfort and appropriateness.
• Locomotion: Assist with mobility, including walking, using stairs, and transferring from one place to another.
• Eating: Assist with feeding and meeting nutritional needs.
• Phone Use: Assist with making phone calls as needed.

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist clients with personal care and household tasks to help them maintain their independence and quality of life. This role requires a high level of professionalism, empathy, and a strong commitment to client care.

Location:YORK, PA, 17404

Approved Weekly Hours: 20.06

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9AM-1PM, some days 10AM-2PM

Preferably Female - Preferably has a car, not required - for appointments

Scope:meal preparation, accompany to doctorsappointment, light housekeeping
