Qualified candidates are female, have reliable transportation, and can follow care plans while documenting care provided. Background screening and clearances are required; CNA is preferred but not mandatory.

AbaCares Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team. Our Direct Care Workers provide essential support and services to clients in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Services include personal assistance, companionship, homemaking, and respite care.

Location: York, PA, 17403

Approved Weekly Hours: 40.38

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-4pm; Tuesday 8am-3pm; Saturday 9am-1pm

Requirements:

Female

Having a car is required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a caregiving or direct care role is preferred.
• Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
• Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
• Sympathetic attitude towards the care of the sick and elderly.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must pass a background screening and obtain required clearances.
• CNA preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities:
