Our Direct Care Workers provide essential support and services to clients in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Services include personal assistance, companionship, homemaking, and respite care.

Location: HARRISBURG, PA, 17111

Approved Weekly Hours: 20.05

Schedule:

Monday Wed Friday 8AM–2:30PM

Female

SCOPE: meal prep, getting up in bed in the morning, uses a walker, minor mobility assistance

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal assistance and care to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with homemaking tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Ensure clients' safety and well-being by monitoring their condition and reporting any changes.
• Follow care plans and service plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate client records.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a caregiving or direct care role is preferred.
• Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
• Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
• Sympathetic attitude towards the care of the sick and elderly.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must pass a background screening and obtain required clearances.
• CNA preferred but not required
