Are you the Relief Direct Care Worker we have been looking for? JRI’s Developing Abilities program provides opportunities for people to live in homes and apartments in their communities and to grow through job training, supported employment and day habilitation services. We provide therapeutic and social supports to enrich the lives of people with disabilities.

We Are Looking For Part-time Relief Direct Care Staff Members To Work In Our Residential and Day Programs In Waltham!

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $25.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

Schedule: We offer a variety of weekday and weekend shifts.

Due to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma preferred.

Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is required.

Availability to cover open shifts as necessary.

Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Ability to work efficiently and independently without direct supervision or colleagues present.

Valid driver’s license, with the ability to transport individuals in agency vehicles as well as your own vehicle when needed.
