Job summary

REM Community Services, a Sevita company, is hiring Direct Care Staff (Onsite, Part Time, Days). In this role you’ll support individuals in daily living activities, help with budgeting, nutrition, community activities, and personal care while fostering inclusion and independence.

No experience is required; paid training is provided. Starting pay is $18 per hour with on-demand pay, a full benefits package, 401(k) with match, and opportunities to grow within Sevita.

Qualifications

• Must have had a valid driver’s license for 1 full year, without restrictions.
• No experience required; paid training provided.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successful clearance of background checks.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals, from budgeting and nutrition to community activities and recreation.
• Build strong, trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
• Take initiative every day in a role where your ideas and dedication are valued.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings.
• Promote inclusion by helping individuals engage with their communities and enjoy their favorite events.
