Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is hiring Direct Support Professionals for onsite roles in Iowa. You will support individuals with daily living tasks, advocate for inclusion, and help them achieve personal goals in a compassionate, respectful environment.

No prior experience required; paid training provided and opportunities for advancement within Sevita's community services network.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license for 1 full year.
• Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance (for some programs).
• A clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED (for some programs).
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successful clearance of background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals, from budgeting and nutrition to community activities and recreation.
• Build strong, trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
• Take initiative every day in a role where your ideas and dedication are valued.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings.
• Promote inclusion by helping individuals engage with their communities and enjoy their favorite events.

Direct Support Professional (Onsite, Full-time & Part Time)

Starting Pay: $15.25 - $22 per hour (depending on program) | On-Demand Pay | Referral Bonus Program
