Job summary

People Incorporated is hiring Direct Care Professionals for per diem shifts in the Southcoast MA area. No experience needed; we provide on-the-job training and professional development.

Roles include assisting adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting, supporting daily living activities and medical needs. The position offers shifts in 2nd and 3rd, a path for growth, competitive pay of $19–$20 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible positions.

Qualifications

• Be a compassionate person and enjoy making a difference in someone’s life.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record
• Valid driver’s license; Use of your personal vehicle.
• A TB screening and Physical is required upon hire and a TB update every two years after

Responsibilities

• You will be part of a team supporting adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program.
• Direct Care Professionals provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes: Individual community outings
• Meal preparation
• Assistance with activities of daily living
• Personal care
• Medical appointments
• Medication distribution
• Outings to The Movies, Shopping, Dinner, Baseball games, Bowling
