Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, is hiring a Direct Care Staff for an onsite, full-time day shift. You’ll support individuals with developmental disabilities, help with daily living activities, and promote community participation. Valid driver's license is required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
• Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• A clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successful clearance of background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals, from budgeting and nutrition to community activities and recreation.
• Build strong, trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
• Take initiative every day in a role where your ideas and dedication are valued.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings.
• Promote inclusion by helping individuals engage with their communities and enjoy their favorite events.
