Job summary

You will work closely with supervisors and healthcare professionals, documenting progress and contributing to individualized care plans to improve residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in direct care or related caregiving role preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents with physical needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with ADLs including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition.
• Implement individualized care plans and document resident progress accurately.
• Administer medications as directed and in accordance with care guidelines.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and positive home environment for all residents.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and healthcare professionals regarding resident well-being.
