Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in direct care or related healthcare setting preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a resident-first mindset
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on personal care and assistance to residents with daily living activities (ADLs)
• Support individuals with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition
• Monitor and document resident health, behavior, and progress
• Administer medications as directed and in accordance with care plans
• Facilitate community outings, recreational activities, and social engagement
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and healthcare professionals
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment for all residents
