Job summary

Altum Care Homes in Southfield, MI is seeking a compassionate Direct Care Professional to join our team. This role involves providing hands-on care, assisting with daily activities, and supporting residents in a home-like setting.

You will work closely with supervisors and healthcare professionals to follow individualized care plans, document progress, and ensure resident safety and comfort. A high school diploma or GED is required, CPR/First Aid certification preferred, and background checks

Qualifications

• Experience in direct care, personal care, or related caregiving preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Reliable, punctual with consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with ADLs including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition.
