Job summary

Berkshire County Arc, Inc. is seeking Direct Care Professionals in Pittsfield, MA. The role supports individuals with daily living tasks, coordinating transportation and activities, and promoting independence within a residential program.

Position is hourly, full-time with flexible day hours and a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Candidates should have experience with disabilities and a valid driver’s license with insured vehicle. BCArc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

• Assist individuals in daily living: personal care, housekeeping, cooking, and appointments.

• Hours are flexible and assigned by the direct supervisor.

Responsibilities:

Direct Care Professionals assists individuals in all areas of daily living including personal care, housekeeping, cooking, and bringing to appointments and recreational activities. This position works closely with individuals to help them to become as independent as possible and to meet their personal goals. Staff must maintain accurate and complete records, reports and data necessary to meet the requirements of BCArc and any certifying or regulatory agency. Effective communication with other staff, family members and Individuals is required. Hours must remain flexible and are assigned by the direct supervisor in accordance with program operational needs.
