Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED and be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid social security number or have appropriate work permit documentation.
• Must pass a Criminal Record Check.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to show proof of liability auto insurance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Shall provide physical assistance to individuals as needed.
• Shall provide residential training to facilitate the acquisition of communication skills, sensorimotor skills, and daily living and self-help skills.
• Shall provide assistance with daily living, such as ambulation, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, bathing, meal planning and preparation, laundry, budgeting and financial assistance, home care and cleaning.
• Shall provide emotional support, advice and assistance to help the individual work through problems.
• Shall communicate with the assigned Case Manager on a regularly scheduled basis and as needed.
