Job summary

Berkshirejobs is seeking a dedicated staff member to provide direct care to families in the program and to maintain program safety. You will support residents with activities of daily living and help families navigate the program.

The role involves coordinating intake interviews with the Program Manager, monitoring daily activities, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. CPR certification or equivalent is required or obtainable within 3 months.

Qualifications

• CPR certification or ability to obtain certification within first 3 months of employment.
• Basic knowledge of substance use disorders and mental health diagnoses is preferred.
• Family services experience preferred.
• Prior human services and/or direct care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all applicable state and federal regulations and organization policies.
• Coordinates intake interviews with Program Manager.
• Monitors daily program activities and reports concerns to Program Manager.
• Follows medication observation policy for resident medication regimens.
• Works with case management and child services staff to manage and file records timely.
