Job summary

Berkshire Family And Individual Resources in Southampton, MA seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with disabilities in a group home setting. You will support daily living activities, including personal care, housekeeping, cooking, and recreation, to promote independence and personal goals.

You will also help individuals engage in community activities and pursue personal interests, with training including CPR/First Aid and completing required background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• HS diploma or GED, or 1 year of related experience.
• Basic math (addition/subtraction) skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to multi-task and exercise good judgment.
• Background checks including CORI, SORI, fingerprinting, LEIE, driving record, E-verify, physical, PPD and licensing/certification checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals with disabilities in a group home setting.
