Job summary

Kinder Growth Therapy in New Jersey is seeking a part-time DIRFloortime therapist to provide in-home, 1:1 therapy for autistic children. Sessions occur mainly weekday afternoons and evenings, with optional weekends. You will be supported by credentialed supervisors and benefit from a flexible schedule.

You will collect light session data on a phone or tablet, building strong relationships through attuned play and growing with a compassionate, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to engage physically with children (e.g., playing on the floor).
• Must have a working phone or tablet to collect session data.
• Must pass Federal and State background checks.
• Valid form of ID.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, child development, etc.
• Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish-English).
• Preferred: Experience with the DIRFloortime model.

Schedule

• We ask each employee and family to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week, with sessions typically lasting 2–3 hours per day.

• Most sessions take place after school (between 3–8 PM on weekdays) and anytime on weekends.
