Job summary

Kinder Growth Therapy is seeking compassionate individuals to provide 1:1 DIRFloortime therapy to autistic children in their homes across the Roxbury area. You will build meaningful relationships through play, support families, and collaborate with supervising clinicians.

The role is part-time with flexible weekday afternoons and evenings, plus optional weekends. You’ll need reliable transportation, pass background checks, and enjoy working with children in a dynamic, rewarding setting.

Qualifications

• DIRFloortime experience preferred.
• Ability to pass Federal and State background checks.
• Reliable transportation and valid ID.
• Bilingual Spanish-English preferred.
• Flexible schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide playful, 1:1 DIRFloortime therapy to autistic children.
• Build strong, trusting relationships through emotionally attuned play.
• Collect light session data using your phone or tablet.
• Collaborate with and receive ongoing support from credentialed supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Provide playful, 1:1 DIRFloortime therapy to autistic children

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to engage physically with children (e.g., playing on the floor)
• Working phone or tablet to collect session data
• Ability to pass Federal and State background checks
• Valid form of ID

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field (education, psychology, child development, etc.)
• Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish-English)
• Preferred: Experience with the DIRFloortime® model

Experience (1+ year required)

• Childcare (babysitting, daycare, preschool teacher, assistant teacher)
• Special education (educational settings, special needs)
• Developmental intervention (early intervention)
• Autism interventions (RBT/Behavioral technician, autism support specialist, ABA therapist, other DIRFloortime experience

Schedule

• We ask each employee and family to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week, with sessions typically lasting 2–3 hours per day.
• Most sessions take place after school (between 3–8 PM on weekdays) and anytime on weekends.
