Job summary

WonDIRful Play in Perth Amboy, NJ is seeking a DIR Floortime Player (DFA) to deliver play-based interventions in-home after school hours. You will build strong connections with children and families, guiding emotional and developmental growth through the DIR Floortime approach.

The role offers mentorship from our clinical team and opportunities for professional growth. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:15 PM to 8:00 PM, with cases near the client's home and flexible morning slots occasionally

Qualifications

• DIR Floortime Basic Certification is required or willing to undergo training.
• Experience working with children with developmental delays or autism.
• Strong communication skills with families and team members.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home, play-based DIR Floortime therapy sessions.
• Build strong connections with children and families to support emotional and developmental growth.
• Collaborate with clinical team for guidance, mentorship, and ongoing support.
• Ensure safety and confidentiality while working with clients and families.
