Job summary

Diocese of Charlotte is seeking a Project Manager to oversee diocesan real estate projects, collaborating with pastors, principals, and administrators from concept to completion. The role reports to the director of the Construction & Real Estate Office and focuses on planning, approvals, and execution within diocesan processes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in related roles, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• North Carolina real estate broker licensure preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for parishes in Canon 1281 Title II Process.
• Liaise between Construction & Real Estate Office and Chancery, Legal, and Finance offices for approvals.
• Deliver real estate projects for Tier I entities; support acquisitions/dispositions.
• Prepare analyses to evaluate real estate transactions for decision makers.
• Develop relationships with brokers, appraisers, and other professionals.
• Contribute to a diocesan real estate strategy and procedures.
• Support data gathering and reporting for the Real Estate & Facilities Committee.
• Coordinate with Properties & Risk Management Office on the database rollout.
