Job summary

American Dining Creations is seeking a Dining Supervisor to lead hands-on food-service operations in Syracuse, NY. You will supervise deli, pizza, and grill stations, coach staff, and ensure top-quality guest experiences in a fast-paced dining environment.

You will work closely with team members, manage POS and cash handling, and uphold food safety standards while promoting a positive culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of culinary experience or experience in a supervisory or leadership role within food service or hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety standards; ServSafe certification strongly recommended.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including varying shifts as needed.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and coach support staff to ensure consistent service excellence and operational standards.
• Oversee daily operations of multiple food stations, including deli, pizza, and grill, ensuring quality, efficiency, and presentation.
• Work hands-on alongside team members, assisting with food preparation, cooking, inventory management, and maintaining clean, organized workspaces.
• Manage POS transactions, cash drawers, and related office and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain café cleanliness and ensure full compliance with company safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols.
• Serve as a welcoming, guest-facing presence—engaging daily with customers and providing friendly, professional, and solution-oriented service.
• Support a positive team culture that promotes accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
