Brookdale Senior Living in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Dining Services Supervisor (Finance) to oversee daily dining operations for residents and guests. The role requires supervising dining staff, ensuring timely service, and maintaining cleanliness and food quality in line with Brookdale standards.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent with a relevant certificate and 1–2 years of related experience, plus current ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus one year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Minimum of one to two years related experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Current ServSafe Certification required.
• Ability to read and write English; strong communication with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager with daily supervision of dining services associates.
• Ensure smooth opening and closing of the dining room and timely delivery of room service orders.
• Maintain a pleasant, clean dining environment and ensure meals are palatable and appetizing.
• Enforce safety and sanitation standards in all dining operations.
• Plan daily resident menus per company standards; support staffing coverage for each shift.
• Collaborate with Director, Dining Services to hire, train, discipline and terminate staff as needed.
• Develop and maintain good cross‑department relations to meet residents' needs and ensure quality service.
