Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Dining Supervisor at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. The role is full-time and based on-site, overseeing daily dining operations and front-end production to ensure smooth service.

The ideal candidate will have previous culinary/foodservice experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and proven leadership abilities to manage a team and maintain safety and quality standards.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Dining Supervisor at Wofford College.

This is a full-time position in Spartanburg, SC.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee front end production
• Follow opening procedures, including opening and handling cash drawers
• Comply with all policies and procedures, including but not limited to food and physical safety programs
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. customer issues, cleanliness, safety concerns or security concerns)
• Follow all safety requirements at accounts
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
• Perform any other duties as specified by management

Requirements

• Previous culinary/foodservice experience required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Successful team leadership experience
• Moving, bending, stooping, lifting and standing on a frequent basis
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently; lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary
