Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred; will consider applicable work experience.
• Certified Dietary Manager PA or eligible through approved program.
• Ability to push, pull, lift or move 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dietary services with other departments.
• Develop and maintain written dietary policies and procedures.
• Interpret policies to staff, residents, visitors and agencies as needed.
• Perform administrative duties: forms, reports, evaluations, studies.
• Review policies annually and recommend revisions to the Administrator.
• Develop and maintain a file of tested standard recipes.
• Provide reports and recommendations to the Administrator on dietary operations.
• Inspect storage, closets and supply areas to meet regulatory guidelines.
• Process diet changes from nursing services and implement plans.
• Lead continuous quality improvement for the dietary department.
• Assist in planning menus with physician prescriptions and resident needs.
