Job summary

The role emphasizes building customer relations, handling sales and register transactions, and maintaining facilities. Evening hours may apply, with a focus on service quality.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of commercial kitchen and food service operations.
• Supervision and/or management experience in a multiple item menu, food service establishment.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safe food handling practices, and food sanitation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and public.
• Experience with automated scheduling and automated food inventory systems.
• Previous experience operating an electronic cash register and accurately exchanging credit and debit card tender.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of Turner Place under the direction of the unit operations manager.
• Assist in the supervision, counseling, training and development of employees.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed and high level of customer service.
• Create performance plans and complete evaluations for salaried direct reports.
