Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Manager in Chapel Hill, NC to lead dining operations, oversee front-of-house and supervise team performance, while delivering safe, high-quality dining experiences for customers.

You will coach staff using Aramark's model, manage client needs, maintain P&L awareness, ensure compliance with safety standards, and partner with other departments to provide a unified food service program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model
• Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to a unified food service experience for all customers
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Lead dining operations and front-of-house activities
• Engage and develop team members using Aramark's coaching model
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations
• Plan and lead daily team briefings
• Identify client needs and communicate operational progress
• Deliver client and company financial targets and maintain P&L statements
• Adopt Aramark processes and educate teams on performance levers to improve margins
• Supervise team regarding production, quality and control
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to wage and hour regulations
