Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Manager to lead dining operations in a correctional setting, overseeing menu-based food preparation, ensuring safety and sanitation, and driving service excellence for residents and staff.

You will coach and develop front-line teams, manage daily briefings, monitor P&L performance, control costs, and meet client expectations while upholding Aramark standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a management role.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to supervise dining operations and ensure safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front of the house of the dining operation (Cafeteria/Residential Dining Facility) and supervise production, quality and control.
• Engage and develop team members to their fullest potential using coaching methods.
• Identify client needs and communicate operational progress to ensure client satisfaction.
• Manage P&L statements, financial targets, and cost controls to improve margins.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with all applicable policies and laws.
