You will oversee food preparation, ensure dietary accuracy, and manage safety, sanitation, and budget goals while guiding a dining team through training and scheduling.

The role emphasizes resident satisfaction, event support, and collaboration with marketing and activities teams to create memorable dining experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervising kitchen or dining operations.
• 2+ years volume cooking experience.
• Current ServSafe certification.
• Knowledge of modified diets and nutrition basics.
• Experience managing food and labor budgets.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food preparation and service in alignment with Sunrise culinary programs.
• Ensure accurate dietary modifications and proper portioning.
• Manage food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
• Monitor food and labor budgets to meet financial goals.
• Lead, hire, train, and coach dining team members.
• Coordinate dining room flow and staffing for each meal.
• Engage with residents for feedback and participate in Resident Council meetings.
• Support special events and community marketing initiatives.
