Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Dining Services Lead to oversee the dining operations during assigned shifts and support the supervisor to ensure high-quality service. You will promote core values and lead a team to deliver safe, efficient meals in a client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of food service experience preferred.
• Evidence of leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Summary

In addition to performing the responsibilities of their assigned position, the Dining Services Lead is responsible and accountable for the operations of the dining services department in the absence of the Dining Services Supervisor/Manager. The Dining Services Lead will ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines, and lead team members to provide efficient and high-quality services.

Pay

$16/hr.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and promote Pyramid Healthcare's core values and mission.
• Guide and supervise food service operations during assigned shifts.
• Ensure staff effectiveness, efficiency, and client satisfaction per established policies and procedures.
• Assist with the preparation, cooking, and serving of food.
• Provide direction, training, and coaching to employees in collaboration with the Dining Services Supervisor.
• Ensure standards are maintained for food quality and service.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by complying with food safety procedures and guidelines.
• Motivate team members by creating a supportive and collaborative work environment.
• Assess team performance during assigned shifts and provide feedback to the supervisor.
• Conduct shift huddles to review standard work, prioritize tasks, and encourage productivity.
• Assist with ordering and maintaining accurate food and supplies inventory.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of department equipment; report needed maintenance and faulty equipment to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain excellent customer service and resolve client concerns in a professional manner.
• Promptly report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses.
• Address client concerns during shift and consult with the Dining Services Manager/Supervisor, as necessary.
• Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• High School Diploma.
• One year experience in food service preferred.
• Proven history of consistently performing at a high level in a team environment.
• Proven leadership ability and/or experience.
• Serv-Safe certified or be willing to obtain upon hire.
