Job summary

Piedmont Crossing in Thomasville, NC is seeking a dedicated Dining Services Assistant to join our care-focused team. This full-time role supports dining operations, food preparation, sanitation, and resident service in a welcoming environment.

Under the supervision of the Dining Leadership Team, you will assist with meal service, meal prep, inventory, safety procedures, and quality dining experiences for residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices preferred.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform routine cleaning and food preparation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepares dining areas and assists with serving meals to residents, independently or with a team.
• Assists with post-meal services, including collecting trays and transport to cleaning areas.
• Operates dishwashing and sanitation equipment; hand washes items as needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, tables, cabinets, and food preparation equipment.
• Assists with inventory management, stocking, and retrieval of food and supplies.
